Local Maternity and Neonatal Systems bring together all the people who are involved in providing and organising maternity and neonatal care in a specific area. This will include midwives, obstetricians, neonatal staff, managers, commissioners, public health, educators, perinatal mental health providers, GPs and Maternity Voices Partnerships.
In Gloucestershire, our Local Maternity and Neonatal System brings together representatives from the following NHS organisations:
- Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (provider of Maternity and Neonatal care services)
- Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (provider of Health Visiting and Perinatal Mental Health services)
- NHS Gloucestershire – Our Integrated Care Board.
