If you find out you are pregnant, it’s normal to feel a range of different emotions. If you’re pregnant but not sure you want to continue with the pregnancy, talking to people you trust, and getting information about your options, can help you decide.

You may want to talk to a partner, family or friends, or you may prefer to speak to someone less close to you.

The following services can talk confidentially with you, free of charge:

  • your GP surgery (talk to your doctor or nurse)
  • The Pregnancy Advisory Service based at Hope House in Gloucestershire Royal Hospital offers support for women throughout the county who have become pregnant and are unsure of what to do. You will be offered confidential, non-judgmental support. To attend one of their clinics you can be referred by any professional e.g. your doctor, health visitor, teacher, school nurse or you can refer yourself using this form.
